Next Confirmation Class Begins Fall of 2025

Welcome to Confirmation at Grace! Confirmation is a major milestone in the life of our middle school students. It is the opportunity for our students to learn more about Christianity, the Methodist tradition and ultimately confirm that faith as their own. It is a real choice that our students have the opportunity to make, and this program helps guide them in that journey. Over the course of the year we will dive into the scripture, explore the traditions of the Methodist church, engage the faith with both our minds and our hearts and have a lot of fun along the way. We will do this through Sunday morning confirmation classes, special services, and retreats. This is going to be a great year of Confirmation at Grace!

Confirmation Registration

This is a very important time each week where we will work through our curriculum, have important discussions, and help the students think more deeply about their faith. In order to be confirmed students have to attend at least two-thirds of of Sunday morning meetings.

Confirmation Requirements

* Attendance for at least two-thirds of the Sunday Morning classes

* Attendance for at least the Ignite Retreat, both retreats are preferred. 


We believe deeply in the importance of the Confirmation process and that it should be a priority in the confirmation year. Because of this students who do not meet these requirements will not be able to be confirmed and participate in the Confirmation service.

We are so excited to invite you to the first Confirmation Retreat of the year! This this is our kick off retreat focuses on sparking relationships with God and each other. During the retreat we will focus on Matthew 22:36-40 where Jesus gives us the greatest commandment, "you are to love God and love your neighbor." We will focus on building community and continuity in and among our confirmation class sparking a love for each other and God. This is a retreat filled with fun, worship and will be an incredible way to jump start their year together and in confirmation!

Ignite Retreat

Ignite Retreat

St. Simon's Island, GA

We are so excited to announce our final confirmation retreat, Ignite! Ignite is designed to ignite a fire that strangely warms our hearts for our God. On this retreat we will study and experience the life and teachings of John Wesley and the early roots of the Methodist movement. We will do this in first person where John Wesley actually ministered as we travel to Epworth by the Sea in beautiful St. Simons GA. This is a very exciting weekend full of memories and experiences that the students will be shaped by and remember for a life time.
