We invite you to join in our our journey to be the hands and feet of Christ in our world.

  • First Light Shelter Meal Service- The 3rd Wednesday of the month

First Light is a shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness. We have partnered with them for an intergenerational service ministry that provides breakfast to the women at at the shelter the third Wednesday of each month. Volunteers from Grace will buy groceries (approx. $80) ahead of time. Then, on the day of the meal, they would prepare the food at First Light, serve the meal, and clean up.

  • Angel Tree- December

Each year our Grace family commits to adopting around 60 “angels” from our community to help provide Christmas joy! This is a meaningful way to enter into the holiday season and help those who might not otherwise receive Christmas presents. Our Angel tree is completely online so, beginning in November, you can click the link below to view our sign up genius and help bring a little Christmas joy to a family in need.  Our Lay leader for this event is Samantha Bosmia.

  • Bundles of Hope- September

Bundles of Hope Diaper Bank offers hope to families during times of financial hardship by providing their infants and toddlers with diapers. If you have ever had to buy diapers for an infant you know just how costly those “throw away” necessities are! Throughout the year we do diaper drive collections for Bundles of Hope to help resupply their diaper bank and provide relief to families who need it most.

  • Glenwood- Ongoing

Glenwood is not only a neighbor to Grace, but also a partner in ministry. Glenwood’s mission is to enable individuals to live life to their fullest potential. They provide an array of comprehensive services devoted to the protection of individual rights, anchored in the support and person-centered treatment of children and adults impacted by autism and other behavioral health needs. Outcome-focused services are provided through positive interactions, centered in dignity and respect of the individual’s rights. Throughout the year we have opportunities to serve with Glenwood by hosting events on our Grace campus for residents, supporting their annual holiday pecan sale, as well as other individual volunteer opportunities.

Our lay leaders for this ministry are Skip and Gina Kitchens.

  • The Lovelady Center- Ongoing

The Lovelady Center exists to empower women through faith-based initiatives so they can return to society as well-equipped women of God. The program is about empowerment, hope, and a belief in the value of each and every human life. Over the course of the year, Grace supports these women by doing drives that focus primarily on personal hygiene supplies and other resources as requested by the center. • School Ministry- Ongoing

Grace values education and the life-long foundation that it provides for children. We know that there is great disparity between school systems in our city, and we have committed ourselves to being a part of the solution to that problem. At different points in the year, we partner with local schools to provide supplies, books, and other resources to help create more opportunity for students in these school systems.

Our lay leaders for this ministry are Lisa Brush, Ashley Harmon, Ameet Bosmia.

  • Panama Missions- Coming Soon!

Grace has entered into a new partnership with a Methodist outreach ministry in Cieneguita, Panama. This ministry is a comprehensive rural health project which serves the Ngobe Indians, who are the poorest of the poor in Panama. This project includes the provision of potable water, adult literacy classes, community organization, and pre-school education for the Ngobe children. We are building a multilevel partnership that will include financial assistance as well as onsite missionary teams that will travel to Panama for week-long mission trips!

Our lay leader for this ministry is Todd Clay.

  • Nicaragua Missions- Ongoing

Grace has a long term partnership with the Christian organization JustHope in Nicaragua. In the past we have sent mission teams as well as donating funds to help build houses and even provide a new water pump for an entire village. While our onsite teams have not been able to travel to Nicaragua in several years because of political turmoil and COVID, we have continued our financial partnership.
