Camp Sumatanga Day Camp
Every summer we invite our children who have completed Kindergarten through 2nd Grade to join us for Day Camp at Camp Sumatanga! We will depart from Grace every morning and return in the afternoon. Summer 2025 camp dates are June 2 - 6. There is a two part registration process this year; to complete part 1 and receive further instructions please visit the link below!
Camp Sumatanga
Overnight Camp
Children who have completed 3rd Grade through 5th Grade are invited to Camp Sumatanga for overnight camp! Amanda Vernon, the Director of Children's Ministries at Grace will be the Camp Director at Camp Sumatanga the week of June 8 - 13 for Elementary Camp 1 so they will know a familiar face. Registration is available through Camp Sumatanga using the link below; let us know if you are planning to join us!
VBS
VBS is one of our most exciting weeks and is open to all children ages 3 through completed 5th grade (volunteer children of all ages are invited to attend). This year VBS will be in the evenings (6-8pm) the week of July 14-17!

Connect Serve Week
Connect Serve Week is an exciting opportunity for our completed 3rd - 5th graders to partner with other local United Methodist Churches for a week of learning and serving. The morning sessions will consist of large group games, dynamic teaching/worship, and small group sessions. After lunch, we will go in groups to serve in age-appropriate mission projects around Birmingham. 2025 Connect Serve Week will take place July 21-24. More information and registration coming soon!
